Supporting Learners (IAG) - Supporting Information
Supporting learners is an essential activity which will form an important part of all ULF projects. In the past we have referred to this as IAG. Below are some of the ways that your project may wish to develop strategies to address this cross cutting theme
- Familiarising the project team with the unionlearn Climbing Frame and developing a strategy for ULRs to use it as a tool in the workplace. Working with unionlearn to customise and pilot union specific versions of the Climbing Frame where required.
- Promoting the use of the unionlearn learning and careers advice service for your members and ULRs.
- Work with unionlearn to keep abreast of current developments in the field.
- Developing ULR and union rep skills in supporting learners. This may be through IAG qualifications or other appropriate mentoring and coaching.
