Project Management Training Event
A two day project management training course will be held on Tuesday 27th July and Wednesday 28th July at the NUT Headquarters in London. The course is designed to support you in your role as project manager and will cover key areas such as management and timeframes, project governance, action planning and reporting. Skills for Life Union Network Meeting
The purpose of this meeting is to develop and share the underpinning knowledge and expertise to implement the Skills or Life Strategy. The meeting will also give you the opportunity to find out more about the unionlearn refreshed Skills for Life Strategy and numeracy push, an update on the ESOL for Work Strategy and the latest policy information on this key area of work. TUC Communication Awards 2009
The TUC Communications Awards for 2009 took place on July 1st 2009 at Congress House London. The awards are open to all 57 communications departments of TUC affiliated trade unions, and as always, there were a healthy number of entries for the prestigious awards. Some of the winners are pictured above with TUC General Secretary, Brendan Barber and Ian McCartney MP Best union journal or magazine: FBU.
